Backwards compatibility for loading old projects / deprecated stuff is a good thing, not something to complain about. You never know when you might need to fire up something ancient, only to find you can't load anything because all the latest versions of your plugins won't load in it.
Audio Damage just updated EOS2 with a slick new UI, yay!

Anybody running this on Reaper?
The original EOS ran fantastically for me. The newer versions (haven't tried this update yet) were terribly unstable on my system, causing denormalization errors, sudden hangs on the audio streams and incredibly loud noise. It was always EOS that was the issue, so I've been continuing to run the old version. Hoping for the best.
