They’re quite dodgy. I think they just changed the name that’s all. They also repurposed and renamed a plugin coded by Dave Gamble so as to avoid paying royalties.

We're talking about a few years? Sienda acquired Sonalksis a few years ago. IMO there is only one former Sonalksis developer (and also the founder?) Kieran Tyrrell who "now" works for Sienda.

Yeah, seems like Sienda New Media Technologies GmbH took over Sonalksis quite some time ago.

(The DLLs of FreeG 3.0.0.0, which was the first Sienda version, were made in October 2011, so its at least 8 years now.)

9 years... how time flies.
It seems to be more of a hardware company and the old Sonalksis plugins are still sold but not widely advertised.
Probably Sienda was more interested in the DSP know-how for their hardware and not for Sonalksis as a plugin company. Unfortunately, because they had a very good reputation for excellent (but a bit expensive) plugins.

IM selling my Sonalksis collection. Still working Win 10. Sienda have responded recently with some support questions and no issues. As usual down to individuals perceptions on aint broker dont fix it or no development in near on a decade.

Sonalkasis is now sienda ?
