I like the Logic Next theme - very minimalistic

Default Commla 5 is the one I use too...
Everything is laid out logically and clearly to give you a great workflow....
Get a few keyboard shortcuts happening and you're in business
Default Commla 5 here too.
Dark but very clear. No extreme saturation. No extreme differences in colours...my eyes love this one.
But I have to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the default skins (in v4 more so than v5).

Just returning to production after several years. I've only just taken up Reaper so I have mostly wavered between the ones that look close to default and the Commala ones. These themes that I hadn't seen yet are great.
The one thing I really like about Reaper is just how customizable the interface is, no matter the theme. I still love Ableton too, but being able to flip through very different and carefully laid out screensets with just a function key is great.

Sure, it's just that the way it is done is so bloody user-unfriendly. So difficult to change anything. It's all so cryptic...there have been so many instances where I wanted to edit something in a theme...doing it becomes a real chore...hunting for elements, not knowing where they are...I always give up in the end, and never really have a theme that suits me 100%. But such is life.kellyd wrote:

I keep coming back to Solaris_LCS_Blue_V2. I know it looks a little dull by default. Installed the Brighter altpack, colorized all of the track and mixer panels, and increased all text sizes by two or three points, and it's gorgeous and highly functional on my 4K monitor now.

This is exactly what I use too. Should be the default IMO.GreyLion wrote:I keep coming back to Solaris_LCS_Blue_V2. I know it looks a little dull by default. Default is fine, but a little too bright for me. So I use Default Commala. But Default Commala 2016 for the full tinting to make locating tons of tracks faster.

I like that it's not dark.
