If your tracks aren't named "Track 01 (copy) (copy) (copy) (copy) (copy)", you are doing something wrong

Curious to know how that patch sounds..
Looks like some kind of generative drum machine?

It's far more simple than that, actually
A drum machine would look quite a bit more complex.
It's just a little patch I made while browsing the internet, just coming back to it every now and then to tweak or add some stuff. It can be quite relaxing having something like that in the background
The final patch, which is basically the patch from the picture with a few very minor tweaks, sounds like this:
https://soundcloud.com/deltasign/background-task-02a
The patch is entirely self-running and everything is generated in realtime. However, it uses simple probability for most things, which is what makes it so simple.

Finishing arrangement for my new tech-trance tune.
I realized you can't see anything with this image quality, sorry

The KickBass group spoils it - psytrance!
Care to link a sample of this project?

I hope you used analogue emulation for that real Cage warmth.

Not much fancy stuff to show...just finished this one up and did my usual futureproofing by bouncing plugin channels.

It's clearly missing this plugin, though:fluffy_little_something wrote: ↑Sat Oct 06, 2018 12:37 pm I just finished the remix of a tribute to John Cage:

What's difficult about ? The writing and production process or the software restrictions and/or hardware you have ? 3 months is a long time to work on any one track... If I'm stuck on where to take a track next... I put it to one side and start another, and if need be start another.. on my third attempt I typically get into the swing of things and know where to go. I usually work this out over a couple of days though... If I'm working on a big 10 / 11 minute track and I know it's going to be a big complex one. I give it about two weeks and another week to extend it out with new sections and polishing off. If it's part of something bigger with other stuff connected to it like CGI stuff. I'm ok with that.. I'll extend it further sometime ahead, even by several months from when I first created it. I did this with S_Y_T_R_O_P_H_I_A.
