How do the release candidate versions follow in the 'beta' numbering? Looks like we're up to beta 22 there (https://www.ableton.com/en/release-notes/live-10-beta/) with v21 having some VST3 fixes, but are the RC builds later than the beta builds ?

No, beta builds are RC builds if they tag them as that. So beta 19 was RC1, beta 20 RC2, beta 21 RC3, beta 22 RC4mcbpete wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 3:41 pm How do the release candidate versions follow in the 'beta' numbering? RC= release candidat... means these are the final builds /test versions after or at least at the end of the beta phase... if there are no bugs found in the RC, this version will be the final release...

Yes you are right, but they're still called beta X for versioning an I think to keep the auto updater working , but are actually almost stable. Anyway it seems there will be one more RC. If you're not using VST 3 RC4 should be stable already.Trancit wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 11:25 pmWhile this isn´t completely correct...dermage wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2019 3:46 pmNo, beta builds are RC builds if they tag them as that. It's out! https://www.ableton.com/en/blog/live-10-1-is-here/
Need to try it once I get home. Hopefully it's been tested long enough so it doesn't break my current project.
