Other than the (dreadded) Apple Silicon compatibility, perhaps we could get alias clips? Or maybe some sort of chord track now that we also have key & scale snap and we have all that unused space in MIDI editor panel? I also wonder if they at all work on container clips, that would finally allow us to edit audio directly in the botton panel and in Clip Launcher view?
i hope, besides the other instruments, that Simpler becomes simple MPE, and not with that strange (or not strange, but they could do better!!!!) workaround.
i try to yell, at fora.. but nobody listens.. i feel.. trapped........

I wasn't expecting it will work as well as it does in Bitwig :o

Boring answer but probably the easiest - Just check out the 'New features and improvements' section of the release notes of the beta builds: https://www.ableton.com/en/release-notes/live-11-beta/ (in this case check out 11.0.10b1)

I'm aware of the ongoing beta, but I was asking for 11.1 which - to my experience - isn't usually hinted in advance via beta channel.

I'm also wondering. It seems we get something from Cytomic... a new extended (auto)filter (?) or a better pedal-fx (?), something completely new?

A new filter with more modulation options would be great so one do not need to rely on max4live for that. Or maybe even a clone of The Drop as native device? Would make my copy of The Drop a bit obsolete but would probably feel nice as native device.

"Added [...] improvement to the functionality of User Remote Scripts"
I hope this is a first step to make the User Remote Scripts even more accessible

And they expanding keyboard commands more and more... that's nice too

Lots in that update, good job Abes.

Seems to be all the niggles and bug fixes and just QOL stuff....glad they did this first- now lets have some fun new features :D
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Maybe it's just the beta, but they've done something with the Creative Extensions pack to push the M4L devices into the Live audio effects and instruments categories. Which is great because I had never clocked that pack existed as I'd downloaded so many when I first got Ableton :|

Lets just hope that this isn't taking all the Abes resources and we also get a few other improvements. I would love to see them tackle audit quantise/pitch correction, its pretty much the only 'big thing' missing for me now.

20 years exactly since Live 1 was launched in in October....I wonder if they are doing anything for this?

Right! Congratulations to Ableton. Kinda impressive how they evolved without ever losing the 'core' of it

I'm since ten or eleven years on Live now. I started somewhere at Live 8. How about you folks?
