FYI my upgrade from 10 Suite is £143. Is there usually a second wave discount better than 20%?

it can go up to 40% and not to mention when you buy via resellers. for euro people very nice...

If I remember right they had a 30% Sale in Summer & 25% in Winter since Live 10. And normally Thomann has good Upgrade - offers after the Release.

I'd be really surprised if it was sold via re-sellers too. Was it the case for 10?

I mean after the release - sure. But not before it.

i don't think this moment resellers will get this, after the release, and when there is a sale.

but €159 isn't bad for this update, for the same amount i bought bitwig  (new, they granted me a special price, because, see the thread i once made..)

My favourite new features are the note probability and scale filter for MIDI. Looks like a great update incorporating many long-time requested features.
Signatures are so early 2000s.

All looks super awesome. Not going to lie, though...the lack of development in 10 (i only seriously started using Live at v9, so it's my only comparison) has curdled some of my enthusiasm. 11 makes 10 look like 11.1.

Yes, it's a good price. And I'd prefer to already use it for 6 months rather than save EUR20-30...

You gotta be kidding. 10 and 10.1 brought TONS of awesome stuff, even though a lot of it was "cosmetic" but very important for better and faster workflow. Not to mention VST3, Capture, MIDI chase, new devices, "integration" of M4L. It's easy to forget :)

i asked bitwig. had to show documents of course. could buy it via a reseller. worth a shot by several brands me guess.

i never had 9, so i can't judge it really, but 10 if could compare it with the features of 9, was a big step.

i see that MPE has also release velocity (which by the way isn't MPE..... just midi 1.x spec, my novation main keyboard can do it..), so a full implementation, great for my 3 roli blocks (seabord + 2xlightpad M).

and at last poly pressure with the push 2 controller, which is also nice, or very nice. it makes push 2, almost a MPE controller. it will not have the expression possibilities of a roli, morph, joué, linnstrument etc.

but still poly pressure adds a lot (don't forget you can play now for example the CS 80 V3, as it's meant to be...).
