Hello everyone. Is the "basic" idea using LiveSlice to create your arrangements by editing your loops, dragging them into the arranger, and then use the hosts piano roll keys to play the loops as they are in the arranger specified by the key note shown (i.e. C1, C#1, D1, etc)? If so, do you drag the hosts piano roll note out the length of the loop in the arranger? Thanks.

The idea is to play it live(hence the name), using a keyboard controller . But you can certainly sequence the arrangements using your host's piano roll.
In such a case, make the notes whatever length you want the loop to run - not necessarily the length the loop is.

For example: If you have a 2 bar loop, you can make a 4 bar note - to trigger it twice in a row, or a one bar note - so only the first half will play. You can make arbitrarily in any length, whether snapped to th rhythm or not. This way you can stutter, retrigger and generally mess around with the loops from the piano roll.

Thanks for the reply. Cool, this is what I thought.
