Interesting synth, but very cpu hungry!

Looks interesting, but note the price here on kvraudio seems out of date; I went to the site and it's 149 (E/$)

The demo looked very good, very powerful and nicely designed synth, but in the middle of building a patch using it in Ableton 9, Windows, its output just became a stream of white noise. I don't know if that's a demo limitation but I had to reboot Live to fix it, and I didn't see anything about that on their website.

Spotfire phobos isn‘t discussed a lot here. Though it looks very interesting and different. I guess its out of reach for the most here...

BT Phobos looks interesting but last I checked you can't use your own samples, and I saw lots of people complaining about that. Not sure if they added that yet (maybe the polyconvolution feature requires the audio to be processed in a certain way?). In some ways it's more like a library with an interesting convolution feature, the team said that themselves:
Hi folks, just to clarify: At its core, this product was conceived as a sample library with extra functionality built in, it was never intended to be used with samples or loops other that what is provided with it. However, as I said above, we are listening and I'll make sure that your feedback is fed back to the company.

I would consider not being able to use your own samples is a demo restriction. That makes phobos into the most expensive demo to date...
Is there another synth using convolution? It must be a pretty undiscussed one...

You know I JUST came across TAL synths https://tal-software.com/products I don't think I seen them discussed much here or I am pretty sure I would of checked them out before. I was floored how good they are. I am for sure getting TAL_Mod - it is insanely good sounding.

+1. i got Dagger when i was looking for a plugin replacement for my Minibrute. It's lacking a second envelope, which i miss, but the sound is there. It's the only analog emulation i use, partly because it's not trying to be a specific emulation. It's its own thing, and sounds amazing.
