If you are considering small Adam's, than Presonus R65 is much better speaker in every way, cheaper too. (at least in Thomann)

yeah small adams (a3x, a5x) and T series are pretty ... mediocre.

People seems to recommend those options just because they dig some bigger and more expensive speakers from the same company...

yep. and that's what these companies prey on.
I have largest focals, but i wouldn't recommend alphas to anyone.
better options out there.

I like my M-Audio AV40s. For the size, money and performance it works for me. But I'm not pushing them too hard and sometimes wish they put out more bass.

Whats are the good entry/mid level active speakers?
