Is it possible that I get better results if I set:

6 db slope @ 50 hz

than

12 db slope @ 80 hz ?
this setting can be used in the PMC twenty sub.

I use the sub with very small speakers. Frequency Response:50Hz-25kHz

need a little help here. The actual speakers are: https://pmc-speakers.com/products/consu ... s/db1-gold

the sub is:
https://pmc-speakers.com/products/archi ... /twentysub

The thing is I dont want to cut of my speakers at 80hz - because then i feel like i lose something. They are very clear down to 50-55hz. Any suggestions? Am I doing it wrong?

Mate, your post is all over the place. You're talking about small speakers, then your last statement mentions a subwoofer. I'd edit that post if I was you to make it clearer, with some details about rhe subwoofer, if that is in fact what you mean, mixing environment, placement of speakers, type of music etc :)

Just listen and decide what you think sounds best

As BertKoor said, just listen, but also a 6/dB slope is more appropriate for tonal shaping
