Admittedly, I am completely ignorant of "dub-step", but this sounds interesting.

Sorry about the lack of updates, the holidays caught me off guard and set me back a bit for this release. I got alot more experimental in the last couple weeks with Dubtron and will be dubbing it ( :hihi: ) an Experimental Bass Synth rather than a dubstep one-trick-pony. However, I will not be releasing a public beta, rather I'm just going straight to v1.0. I'm in the process of finishing up the manual and it'll soon be ready to go. It'll be a cheap synth probably around $20. Keep an eye on this thread for news: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 90#4367090

Will do and if i can get such monster sounds from it i will probably buy it man. Me and synth buying is almost non-existent

I'm a fan of your other stuff, but I would not use this one.
It will probably be great for someone into that sound and style.

I can understand, it will be a sort of 'one trick pony', but I hope to eventually make it more experimental so it might be used for things other than dubstep.
I don't even know what "dubstep" is and I don't really pay attention to such lables, but something that allows for interesting experimentation and weird sounds is always of interest to me.

From Jack's demo clips it can make big uber nasty bass heavy wobblers and probably alot more which is i am keen (the uber nasty bass heavy bit anyway)

Lots of takes on the 'dubstep' thing but personally i really dig Mick Harris's work under the name 'Scorn', it has a dark, industrialish feel to it Zerocrossing (not a surprise considering he started out as Naplam Death's original drummer/blast master and then left around the same time as Justin B, also releasing together with Godflesh...etc.). Here is a link to one of his works FWIW ZX mate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPS6pDq-AmU

Dubtron is very inspired by Scorn.
I got some of the more experimental ideas while listening to Anamnesis, one of my favorite Scorn albums.
