Is there a way of merging a midi sequence part? If you've recorded a sequence part, it seems at the moment that you can't overdub on the same track or merge the data of a newly recorded part. It would be useful to be able to do this.

Also, if you drag a sequence part from one track to another, it would be nice if you could copy it to the exact same place on the track you've dragged it to. I know you can achieve this by selecting a certain grid division, splitting the part you want and dragging it to the same place on the target track. It would just be easier if you could, for example, Shift+Click+Drag if you want that part to end up in exactly the right place on the target track even if you have no grid selected.

Anyway, if you could simply merge entire midi tracks, irrespective of how much or little data is in them, then everything would be where it should be.

Also, how about being able to delete and rearrange tracks. It would be good to be able to ctrl+click to delete a track in the grey box on the left hand side where you name your tracks, in the same way you ctrl+click to create a track. Also, it would be nice to be able to drag the track box on the left up or down to rearrange the order of tracks. That way you wont have to check that you've dragged a part to the correct place on a different track, plus it helps to quickly keep things in the order you want them.

Currently there is no way to merge sequence parts.

In LUNA PR5, you'll be able to "Mixdown" a sequence part, which means that any loops are unrolled and so you get a sequence part with all pure editable events.

But that's not (yet) what you're asking, i know.

But starting from this new sequence mixdown function, we can evolve to a full "merge sequence parts" function.

Added to the whishlist ;)

Thanks Jo, that's good to know.
