I just purchased the Arturia Collection (yay CMI! ) and while trying out the Piano V, I discovered that if I have Mulab audio set other than "default" and the piano multi-core support turned on, they get into a race, CPU usage skyrockets to 100%, babies cry, etc.
If I return Mulab back to "default" OR turn off the Piano's multi-core support, things are back to normal, CPU usage is normal, birds are singing, etc.
I like to set my audio to 3 of 4 "cores" on my i5 dual-core just to have a little extra headroom as my CPU usage can get up there before I start printing VST audio for mixdown.
Has anyone else seen this or found this happening with other VSTs? This issue is no big deal, but was rather disturbing when it first popped up.
Multi-core support issue

I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better?

It's normal and common across DAWs. Either use the DAW for multicore or use the plugin for multicore - not both.
