Is there a way to keep a vst plugin window open when dragging in a soundfile from the native OS? (In my case OSX finder) or any 3rd party application? (Like Audiofinder or Sononym)

Seems impossible to do that? (i.e.: drag a sample from finder to NI Battery without the battery vst window disappearing when
ML isn't "in focus")

Looks like there is no "keep plugin windows open when mulab is in background" or something like that. But I might miss something?

Any ideas?

tL.

You can drag the sample to the dock and hover the mulab window icon there, that will show the mulab window and all plugin windows again.
