To elaborate a bit on this: When opening the audio setup, MuLab will first auto-save the current open project(s) (using a temporary project file, not your original project file) because when changing the samplerate, blocksize or multi-core setup there is a tiny chance that some plugin might go wrong on the change (eg. while reallocing buffers) and cause a crash. That's why the auto-save is a good thing to secure your project.mutools wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 10:20 am Fixed a bug wrt auto-save that prevnted opening MuLab's audio setup panel.
Also, when audio setup would ever not be able to auto-save the open projects (should not happen, but computers are complex beasts), you will still get the option, via a popup alert, to open MuLab's audio setup.

M8.2.17 is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/beta/
Windows: Replace the current MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID by the new versions.
MacOS: Replace the current MuLab.app by the new version.
- Audio sequence -> Sample event -> Split at nearest marker was not always working correct. Fixed.
- Sample players: When swithing sample while it's being played, this could result in silently pending voices. Fixed.
- Finetuned the track header tooltips: Only shown when the track name is not fully visible. Also avoided possible empty tooltips for sub-tracks.
- In some cases, eg. when using audio events that are really off grid, the rewind function was not always properly working. Fixed.
- The Position, Time and Tempo displays in the transport panel will automatically use a white text color if the back color is darkish.
- A couple more small improvements.
Windows: Replace the current MuLab.exe and MuLab.ID by the new versions.
MacOS: Replace the current MuLab.app by the new version.

I'm not sure how far it goes back, whether it's the latest update causing the issue, but I have a MuX that has invisible Front Panel controls!
They're all there, but you can't see them. Is there a reason for this, ie, does the MuX need updating to the latest version within MuLab?
Although during a video remake, I found that dragging a group frame makes it and it's content visible again.

Browser / VST Plugin Manager: Excellent improvement for vst management within mulab.
- Would be nice if you could favourite an item from right click context menu in the browser.
