100% CPU in Mulab Beta 8.20 when doing nothing

Weird behavior today: when I take a break from playing or editing a piece on a Mac in Mulab 8.20, the CPU indicator goes full red and the fans on hardware go into overdrive. When I start playing again the CPU activity returns to normal. Is it a known beta behavior? Interesting that it does not affect the quality of sound, just makes a lot of noise with the CPU fans.

First time i hear about this. After how much time of inactivity does this start?

I think it happens within a minute or so, not very regular.

It could be that the third-party plugins are causing this. It becomes a recurring theme, will Mulab play nicely with the rest of the world, or will it be a beauty in an ivory tower who is self-sufficient and doesn't want to play.

What plugins do you observe cause this?
Perhaps do a process-of-elimination to find the culprit.
E.g. a few plugins have de-normalization problems. They behave fine if they are receiving audio, but if there is none they process "nothing" and then overload.
You can delete those plugins, or contact the developer.
