Disting 4 - mode GS - ES-2 Emulation

I get a high pitched noise into my DAW when using ES-2 Emulation mode.

Correct. You feed that into SW CV Input, as in the demo video from the disting manual.

I managed to get it to scale but there is some faint High pitch noise, is that normal?

Where is the noise coming from?

i.e. on which channel/which source of sound do you hear the noise?
