Windows cannot open this file:

created it. Windows can go online to look it up automatcallly, or
you can manually select from a list of programs on your computer

What do u want to do ?

Use the Web service to find it?
Select the program from a list?

hi there!

at first you'll need a midi- able host programm where you can load that vsti (tapeworm). and hook up with your controller.
look over to the left: under the "News" there's a search button for effects/instruments/hosts.
just make your decisions and search for a vst- host.

there are some free ones outthere... like: reaper, buzz or tobybears vst host (no particular order)

for the beginning any demo would be perfect. fl studio, live 5.2, energyxt, just to get the idea for that vst- concept.

btw: how you've found kvraudio.com?

I got the ASIO4ALL driver

i use a M-audio 02 USB keyboard

you need a VST HOST with midi- capabilities.

Which one should i pick there is different formats which one would u pick with the midi and VST host all in one to make the Tapeworm work with my M-audio 02 please??

ok i downloaded the VSThost and loaded tapeworm but i don't get any output audio sound why is that and how do i get audio output please??

You'll need to look at the settings, so that VSTHost is listening to the correct MIDI cinnection on your PC, and setup the audio out to use ASIO4ALL.

After that you should have liftoff, and you can play space oddity to your hearts content

But its doesn't have a option to set it to audio out to use ASIO4ALL.

But i have ASIO4ALL driver how do u get it to set up the audio in the VSThost for ASIO4ALL please?

I went to MENU "devices" then to the WAVE port and set it to ASIO4ALL v2 still not working no output

step by step:

1. start vst host
2. devices -> MIDI - under input tab select your MIDI device
3. devices -> wave - select your ouput
4. file -> new effect - navigate to whatever vsti you want
5. engine -> run
6. start playing

Thanks alot Dozius for the step by step it works
the problem was going to FILE and NEW effects and thats how u LOAD the program into VSThost or maybe its the step by step order thanks alot all u guys for the help to get this to work
