Newly remastered and extended versions of the original 10 titles plus brand new titles are available on the DrummerTracks CD Baby store as well as on iTunes and Amazon (plus other popular music download sites). These are high quality mp3 versions at a fraction of the price (How does $.99 to $1.29 per track sound? Pretty good huh?). Coming this week is "Drum Legends Vol. 1" which features Neil Peart of Rush, Nick Mason of Pink Floyd, Terry Bozzio, Billy Cobham, Rod Morgenstein, Bob Siebenberg of Supertramp and Woody Woodmansey of David Bowie's original Spiders from Mars. If you're a guitar player, bassist, keyboard player, songwriter, producer or play another instrument and want to jam with live played drums which you can simply play from any media player or DAW -OR- you can import them, cut them up and rearrange them (different than working with 2 bar loops because this has more natural feel and drift like a live player would).

The remastered part is subtle and the extended part isn't anything you couldn't do with the pro wave versions in a DAW. It's just repeated so it lasts longer if a lot of cases for people who are just playing them straight out of their iPod or mp3 player for example. There are some other differences from track to track if you hear them but the new ones are so affordably priced (less than a dollar a track) that it'd be the same for any sort of crossgrade/upgrade anyway if there was one. There isn't and they're not on esoundz. Just on CD Baby, iTunes, Amazon and other mp3 download sites with all of the info here on the dedicated site: http://www.drummertracks.comBurillo wrote:do previous customers get "newly remastered and extended" versions?
Most likely the current batch of "Wave" version titles will remain on eSoundz but it may or may not be expanded to include further titles. Instead, the newly revamped series already has new titles in the more popular music download format and will have additional "sequels" as well as new styles coming up there.
