Thanks very much!
Xenobioz wrote:But I have the same problems with CPU and latency on the start of notes. It seems really short sounds work fine, but on longer samples my CPU goes "over" 100% and there is over a second delay before the notes make a sound. The sound gets clicks and pops too, but probably due to the high CPU.
Yeah I know about that and I think I know where is the problem. I will fix it asap.
Xenobioz wrote:Another thing I noticed if I load a lot of samples then in the end it will freeze the plugin and Buzz (my daw). I noticed in the task manager that my host was taking 1.7 GB memory. Later I restarted Buzz and loaded Paraphrasis and watched the memory which seemed to increase every time I loaded a new sound.

I use a Laptop AMD Turion 64X2 TL-60 with 4GB RAM and Vista 32
Thanks for detail feedback! I will definitely check it!

Thanks!
Portamento is planned! Thank you!

Dll not loading in Cubase x32 but the vst3 does work, you find it in the synth folder.

I've installed the x86 Redistributable Package from your archive as well as the x64 version but still can't see Paraphrasis in the host.

Hi. I'm trying to run it on OSX (10.9, under Logic Pro X), but unfortunately, it seems to be stuck forever (and I mean more than 5 minutes at 100% CPU on a short sample). Is there anything I can do to provide you with more information?

I didn't realize this was a time-stretcher, very impressive. That latency between notes is a problem though.

Thanks for the screenshot. Unfortunately it is 64 bit version of Dependency Walker app, since Paraphrasis is 32 it needs to be loaded in x86 version of DepW. (That's why there are not loaded 64 dlls). Sorry I should be more specific first time. Can you provide one more screen shot with Paraphrasis loaded in this http://www.dependencywalker.com/depends22_x86.zip ? Thank you very much!

Guys I have just tried Paraphrasis in latest Reaper (4.71 rev 39c85a 32bit), Renoise (Demo version 3.0.0 32b) and FLStudio (Demo v11.1.0 32b) on my Win7 Home Premium 64bit and all hosts loaded Paraphrasis without problems... Can you provide me informations about versions of your hosts and "bitness"? Paraphrasis is a 32 bit app it wont load in 64bit hosts.

Have you tried VST3 as well without success?

Thanks for feedback! Does it mean that Logic wont load (it gets stuck) or the analysis takes so long?
Can you try load Paraphrasis in GarageBand or MainStage without problems?

What version of Ableton? What version of OS? Mac? Win? 32 bit or 64 bit?

The analysis takes that long. I've loaded it in MainStage, and there analysis doesn't seem to end either, and I've tried three different samples. The Activity Monitor shows this as the deepest active functions at one point

Code: Select all

Loris::ReassignedSpectrum::reassignedFrequency(long) const
  Loris::ReassignedSpectrum::frequencyCorrection(long) const
    Loris::ReassignedSpectrum::frequencyCorrection(long) const
       Loris::FourierTransform::size() const
and these at another

232

Code: Select all

Loris::SpectralPeakSelector::selectPeaks(Loris::ReassignedSpectrum&, double)
  Loris::SpectralPeakSelector::selectReassignmentMinima(Loris::ReassignedSpectrum&, double)
    Loris::ReassignedSpectrum::reassignedFrequency(long) const
      Loris::ReassignedSpectrum::frequencyCorrection(long) const

Thanks a lot for detail feedback! How long (in secs) are these samples you are trying to load?

Sure, here's a screenshot using x86 DW

Win7x64: I've tested in Reaper x64 v4.71 (never had a problem with x86 bridging before now) as well as VST3 in Studio One 2.6.3.27792
