I applied yesterday with name "ArtV" and posted my personal Github account, which is from where I will distribute the binaries. I got not answer about a rejection/acceptance. If I try to register again it says that the account is taken. How does this work?

Trying to register again. There is this text:
I then proceed to enter "https://www.kvraudio.com" as URL, as it seems that github wasn't OK due to the lack of response in two days. Then I get:If you do not have a website but you want to sell your products in the KVR Marketplace (or take part in a KVR Developer Challenge, when applicable) you may enter https://www.kvraudio.com in the URL field (and explain why in the "Who are you? / Notes" text field)!
This process is not very clear...Please enter a FULL valid URL for the new developer
