[MAC] .pkg not working - please help

I recently purchased sylenth1 but when I open the .pkg installer, agree to the terms and install it, no files are actually being put onto my laptop. I can't see any vst or .component files on my mac, if anyone knows how to solve this please help as I saved up a long time to get this money.

Hi,

If you don't get any error messages, then the files are properly installed. What DAW software are you using exactly?
Have you tried the following solution already?

If you are on High Sierra you also might have to reboot after installation.
