Anybody using a hardware controller for X-Y Pad in Synthmaster?

I have used the mouse to move them, as well as used MIDI learn to map a couple sliders on my keyboard to the X-Y pads in Browse view, but I was looking for a more fluid, intuitive way to control them while playing. It would be nice to just drag a finger around to control the grid, like on a iPad, for example.

I don't currently have a controller with an X-Y pad built-in.

For example, anybody have any experience using the Korg nanoPAD2 for this? Or any other alternatives?
