Well, to me 2 cents is not nothing. Which is to say there have been situations I could very much discern a difference of around that size.
Whether or not tolerances and physical reality just kind of obviates the more minute measurements in this or that build of an instrument is beyond my purview.

You can make a .scl pretty easily, just look at any extent scala and emulate the format in a text editor and fill in the ratios, or the cents value. and save as .scl.
