Both of the trackers are down, so that might create a small problem...

It was up and responding while I was seeding, at least the one I was connected to...

Still, if people want the file, start downloading the torrent, and I will keep seeding if I can find downloaders...

Edit: Ok, I'm seeding it now - torrent link on page 8 of this thread. I will leave it up for a while, and remove it when there's no one downloading. If you want it to continue to be seeded, just post here and I'll reseed.

Edit2: Some hours now, still no-one downloading. Stopping seeding.

thanks for the effort, but unfortunately it's sometimes hard to restlessly keep watching a thread (dayjob, family, some music, food and sex...) : I was not even aware that somebody had responded untill this morning.

Maybe it would be great to define one day, let's say during next week (or one weekend, when many people get a chance to be home for some hours in a row), provide the adress for the torrent, and thus give interested people a real opportunity to know and get ready ?
Of course there's no obligation, you too have others things to do, but it would be really appreciated by those who really care to get a hand on those impulses !

I have been seeding the torrent all night, but both trackers are down (or don't work for some reason on my side). We should maybe get a new tracker somewhere and upload a new torrent file. Or then just put it up on Audioshots?

OK, I've setup a new torrent. A friend let me use their tracker for this torrent, so this should be stable.

Sirbellog - no problem - the thing to do is leave your torrent client running permanently, that way when seeders come online, it automatically starts downloading - no thread checking necessary

I'm seeding the old and the new (thanks DotNoir) torrents now. Anyone who wants the file, start that torrent client running!

I started bittorrent as soon as I came back home and read your reply, with the link you provided in your last message, and I will let run in the background (hope it will not interfere with my recording some vocals this afternoon...)
For now (10 minutes later), 0kb tranfer rate and 0,00% are the only results... Let's hope something positive will happen during my recording !

thanks again anyway, this makes weeks that I hoped to get those impulses !

I've uploaded 100 meg so far and an seeing 5 seeders, so like DotNoir, it's definitely working.

One guy just completed and left - it's helpful guys if you leave your client open for a while after your download has completed, to let everyone else get it quicker.

Sirbellog - if you still can't connect and haven't started downloading after 10-20 minutes, you may need to open your firewall for the torrent port (6881 usually). If you still get no joy, PM me and I will sort something out for you specifically... you'll get them somehow.

(I still haven't even had the chance to play with them yet!)

I just deactivated the WinXP firewall as you suggest, but so far nothing has changed.

I'll keep it running anyway for some time,
and will bother only if really nothing changes in the few hours from now !
Now, to some music !

You might have that port filtered on your router as well, if you're on broadband (most routers have an inbuilt firewall in addition to the one running on your computer).

So make sure you allow that port through in your router's firewal too...

Oh, if you people are running peerguardian or something similar it for some reason blocks the host of the tracker. That might be the problem.

I'm using Bittorrent, my firewall is off, I did not find any other firewall in my modem's property.
Torrents may not be rocket science, but undoubtedbly trickyer than simple downloads for dummies like me....
I keep trying, but I guess I'll soon have to bother you personnaly, Beej !
