I'll have it up at random periods, and if anyone connects they can grab it, so if anyone *still* doesn't have it, it wil be available for a while.

Had to do a workshop during the last days and I can't be arsed to leave my machines on when not at home, plus, I usually switch them off during the night as well, but if someone still needs it...

And btw, for me Bittorrent never worked well, Azureus however does (even if I hate Java engines).

FWIW, I'm seeding right now.
Got a share ratio of over 10, seems as if most people just stop seeding as soon as they're done with the file. Not exactly my understanding of "sharing", but well...

Yeah Sascha, my share ratio is about the same, uploaded about a gig so far, most people are hit and running, but I guess many don't really understand about the sharing ethos and are just quitting as soon as they have downloaded...

Is this still active? This could be me being a 'newby' as usual, but I installed Bitcomet, and inserted your URL. There's a fat red X next to it, which suggests 'no go' to me...anyone got any bright ideas?

My ratio is at 12.5 now. I'm still seeding this, didn't have to turn off the program even thought I thought so.

Anyway, great and light torrent program is www.utorrent.com it is only one exe file under 200kB and that's all you need.

The problems aren't usually caused by the torrent programs themselves tho but combinations of soft and hardware firewalls (as in modems, NATs etc...)

Thanks Sascha...Will do. Before I do that, I found a log which says:

Windows XP ICS Status: cannot find working ICS.
Windows XP UPnP Status: device not found!

does that indicate some bigger problem?

Azureus (and I believe utorrent as well) both have some configurator, telling you whether things will work or not. And they'll also guide you to some sites telling you what to change in your firewall or so.

Okay, it can't have been the program, it was me, comme d'habitude. All rolling out smoothly with BitComet now...after some 'tweakling' and 'rebootling'

Oh, and it really is working, cos it says I'm uploading to some lucky soul too...unless that's porno pix flying off to Russia...
