I surely will. Also beej has been seeding a lot.
A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

Hrmpf, Azureus apparently decided to eat up all my connections, so I couldn't even call up Google anymore - probably need to force it to use some other port, but for now I had to shut it down.
utorrent won't work with my new router either - at least not yet, seems I need to do quite some further configurations.
The wLan encryption doesn't seem to be working properly either yet, that's why I got the new router in the first place (has been cheaper than a single access point).
I hate that shit.

Anyways, if anything else fails, I'll be back seeding in the (european) evening.

Hmm..I installed bitcomet and loaded the url into it which shows up fine, but it won't start the download for some reason..

Looks pretty basic, am I missing something?

Sascha, try limiting your upload speed in Azureus - if all your upload bandwidth has gone, general net usage is very bad, even if you have download bandwidth to spare.

I'm on 512K broadbad here, and usually limit to 20 or 25KB/s, which leaves enough spare upload bandwidth for normal internet use...

[Preferences -> Transfer -> Limit Global Upload Speed to: 25 (or whatever)]

Sickle - you need to open up port 6881 on your firewall and possibly port forward 6881 on your router, then you should start seeing peers...

cheers for whoever is seeding at the moment, I'm getting 100kb/s down which is ok. I'll leave mine on for a day or so to keep it going.

Hmm..Well, I already ditched that program and tried uTorrent, tried disabling my firewall for a few, but uTorrent gives a 404 error when entering the url..I ran a test and the program said the ports were open, isn't http 404 a 'file not found' error?

Interest is waning here..I don't mind mirroring the files, but this bittorrent crap really suxx0rz..

:?

Sickle, I've just tried that and got the same thing.

Instead, just click on the link, and select "open with..." then select utorrent as the program to open it.

1. make sure you're hitting the right site: it's the tritonusmusic one on p.15.

2. make sure you've been thru an open/close/reopen cycle with bitcomet (that's what worked for me)

3. Do File>Open URL Link, put your target from '1' in

4. Click on the name in the top window

5. click start arrowhead

see if that works for ya...

Sorted, thanks!

I'll leave my client open for awhile if it helps.

Yeah, will try that later on. For now I need to sort out the goddamn port issue though, so I can use utorrent (which seems to be a lot slicker than Azuerus with all that java blurb).

If the file is under 100mb, http://www.rapidshare.de, is a good reliable file sharing site, fast and one click uploads. Supposedly there are unlimited uploads/downloads, so the file should stay up forever in theory. If the file is over 100mb, then you can split it , and up it in two parts with 2 different links.
