Currently automation of insert FX will operate at MIDI resolution even when the envelope track is set to high-res.

Bumping this again due to another thread I want to see die.

Jorgen has confirmed that 32-bit automation will be much more universal in XT2, but it does not seem likely before then.

-- Sorry I was wrong, he hasn't explicitly confirmed this that I can find. As I said in the other thread: it's not likely that he will remove 32-bit automation from eXT, and with everything moving to modular main window setup, everything should receive 32-bit automation fine

I didn't realize this. Oh well, I dont usually care about hi-res. I gues hi-res really only works for instruments and tempo?

If you do any filter sweeps, that's where it's most obvious.
