lots of pitch shifting feedback and distortion texture sounds from my recently revived guitar amp, a crate 120R.

a field recording of water shifted up an octave and some envelope controlled lowpass piano

Beware neither of these have much melodic content.

Very appropriate choice of taste on the second mp3 by mixing this enveloppe-contolled low-pass part and the waterdrops
Both induce a common color...

The first one reminded me a bit of when the guitarist I play with goes wierd at practice... I mean that in a good way- those are often the moments I enjoy most. Sounds like you had fun.

Wow, nice wind up on the guitar track! I like the songish elements later on, would love to hear some heavy-handed use of reverb/delay on this. Beautiful colours throughout!
The water track is very cool/creative, liked it a lot!

thanks polyslax. I was thinking about creating a wash out of the guitar track track. Was that what you meant?

My guess is that nick is wondering why he's put his full name in his sig when his full name is already his forum nickname?!
I have no constructive criticism.
I'm just glad I happened upon these (am I ever on KVR when you post tracks?!) and I love them both to death. Thank you for the songs

I found both pieces to be immensely creative and engaging. What's there to criticize? Ya done what ya needed to and the sounds are delicious.
