I don't recall anything from you previsouly that I'd describe as "pop" but this in fact is.
Greats sounds used, but it needs vocals badly mate.

Yeah occasionally I dabble in the black arts. I'll probably use some of the lyrics from one of my operas on Being and Time or I'll just use some from the lyrics thread.

very nice track, i love the old skool guitar and the sweepy synth

i agree that suitable vocals could improve this song.

the drums sound like they were made by a drumbox trying to do rock drums, i don't know if that was your intention at all? it sounds mechanical and rock-like at the same time to me. not that it bothers me, but if you want a "real rock drummer" you might wanna humanise that rhythm IMHO.

. Yeah I still need lyrics for this one. The mechanical drums were kind of intentional. If the sounds themselves were acoustic it would sound a little less pre-programmed drum-boxish. Overall I'm content with how they came out.

The thudding drum has an odd effect, at first I was put off by it, but then it has a certain allure. Really like the guitar on this one.

It is screaming for vocals.

The high frequency on the kick is kind of strange, but it helps it cut through the mix. I'm thinking I'll steal some William Blake for the vocals.

Don't know if you watch [adult swim] or not, but an Anime "BLEACH" has spots with certain songs on them, clips of this song would fit perfectly I think.

The short break at 1:57 wasn't my cup of tea, but it was OK.

the break doesn't fit too well, some of notes don't modulate too elegantly, but like you said, it's ok.
