not jsut speaker, microphones, cell phone encoding and more plus distortion, eq, delay, verb (IIRC) + the 4 GB of ambiant sounds that prevents you from digging the sfx yourself in the libs
for tv/film, this is wonderfull, an all in one solution for any phone/radio/tv/megaphone situation (and there is quite a lot those days, especially cell phones(and they got it too)
I really want this one badly

i watched the video and i think it looks to be worth every penny. the presets he played sounded convincing, they even included 5 gigs of ambiances and you also get some altiverb stuff too. but yeah you really have to need this sort of application to pay its price that's for sure.funkychickendance wrote:Great concept...sucky price.
Though if you were a pro, it's the cost of one location excursion![]()

there are ringtone programs that try to help with that a bit, the nokia audio suite has some sort of mode for even checking your polyphonic synth mixes to imagine what it will sound like when it becomes audio. nothing as special as speakerphone thoughNAD wrote:there should be a plugin that lets you check your mixes through a cellphone speaker simulation.

I got wind of the price point early on...great idea but *way* beyond the hobbyist/semi-pro folks like me.
We shall see orchestral machines with a thousand new sounds, with thousands of new euphonies, as opposed to the present day's simple sounds of strings, brass, and woodwinds. -- George Antheil, circa 1925 ---

Stupid site - I can't read any of the text below the main box - too tiny and dark (the Synthmaker site has the same flaw).
So is this just really the library that makes it so special or is there something different about the Convolution processor too - couldn't you get the same effect from loading these IR's into Altiverb? (or any other Convo effect IF they could load Altiverbs format)
