plastique please could you add the possibility to select the dots with direction keys in the keyboard. canc and enter could be used like right and left click of the mouse. i use touchscreen+trackball and sometimes the it's very frustrating to make so precise selection...
if possible add the enlighting of incoming midi signal over the matrix.

Good ideas. I'll see what I can do. I'm currently (slowly) working on an update for all plugins (might take quite a while still).

BTW, unfortunately I had to put Sonar on the "not supported" list as its VST MIDI implementation is somewhat broken (omits or adds midi data) and the plugin editor handling seems fundamentally incompatible. I have/had a very superficial contact to the Cakewalk devs, but it doesn't seem too promising (no response after my reply).

Older versions did that (in a try to mimic the default behaviour under Linux, a.k.a. "Focus follows mouse cursor"), but I got rid of it as it did mess up too much windowing, for example, like you already said, windows will jump in your face if the mouse cursor hovers them.Optomadic wrote:Plastique I also wanted to ask if your plugins assume focus (jump to the front) when they are moused over? I noticed this in FL8. Is this normal??
Thanks for any help.
The later versions (October 2007 and later) use the ALT key for this type of focus grab, i.e. the window under the cursor will move to the front _only_ if the ALT key is also pressed as well.

It's already added and working in the current code (i.e. this will definitely be found in the next update!). Currently I'm at the point where the Windows coding is finished and so far working (the plugin base code is completely new and much more optimized) and I just started going through the Linux builds (the big part remaining is doing tests afterwards on both platforms).
