Sounds good - I was wondering about getting this one. The others don't interest me.

Do you have to have all the instruments in Komplete and GuitarRig 3 for these kits to work? Or does the Massive just require Massive, the C3 B4 III, etc?

Thanks
You don't need any of the normal instruments. The Kore player has internal engines which essentially are the plugins stripped of the GUI (as does Kore 2).

I was thinking this myself. But I was also wondering, do they have to be played within KORE Player or can the patches also be loaded into Massive if you own it?

I know you won't get the variations, etc. in Massive, but it would be nice if you could get 'em in the library.

They can be used in Massive as well; it installs to the Massive factory sounds folder and not the dedicated libraries folder that the other ones install to.

ew
Good to know. This one will probably be a big seller for them. It may also explain why they are resisting your advocacy for a Massive patch library on the NI site. :dog:

cheers

So many plugins, so little time...

Try rebooting and then rescanning your plugins.

tnkx for quick reply, tried that, still not loading sounds as plugin, but doing it as stand alone? curious. :?:

Hm, sounds like you maybe moved the VST? Perhaps a fresh install could fix it.

Easy to use
sounds varying from useful to amazing
I like that there are 8 presets for each sound and that you can morph between them all.

Finally got it now and some of the sounds are excellent :D
Does anyone know if this one works with Vapor also which is based on the kompakt engine?

No. The Kore player only loads .ksds created for the Kore/Kore player engines. It doesn't load third party sounds.

That was a shame since the Kompakt browser sucks but the sound are great
