if we average this speed 'til the end, we'll end up just short of 1000 participants...

edit: well, hehe, getting OVER 1000 participants would be a really big reason to celebrate, for sure. i hope the pace will pick up slightly, 'cos then we'll get to a thousand!

Post

Now THAT would be a true paradox... and a record for us! If we manage to hit 1,000 people the extra goodies are going to be ridiculous. GOOD LUCK!

:hyper:

I counted how many there were at 12 tonight (well, 12 swedish time) and divided by 5 (the GB started on the 1st of december). That gives 948 after 30 days of the same pace. Sooo close, but hopefully it'll pick up just a smidge. (Hope it won't level off, but we haven't seen any of that yet...)

Personally, I am wishing for ever more MIDIfiles... :)

Post

Thank you, Squids! :)

Midi files would be a good way to spruce this up with bonuses on hitting higher numbers. At a certain point we might be able to include some midi files from famous drummers too. You never know... this could get really REALLY good all for the same amount of money - $99. Let's see what happens. DarkStar who keeps track of these things with graphs sometimes will tell you it's not usually as steady as it has been. But, you never know. If more people find out about it and join in then anything can happen. So far this is the best start to a group buy we've ever had!

Sounds awesome!

That's great! Well, with this deal, i'm not surprised. :) Thank you so much for this, Squids!

You're welcome! It's always nice to see new people in these group buys as well... or lurkers coming out and saying hello. Obviously there's always more people joining than talking on here. Come out come out wherever you are if you're reading this! Say hello!!!! Yeah YOU! Put those potato chips down! Start typing! ;) Okay now that's just silly.

Just sitting here programming sounds on a Saturday night. Actually it's kind of relaxing. I'm going to have to stop to have a drink with some friends in a bit but secretly I'd rather finish what I'm doing. I'm on a roll here... there's an art to tweaking these drums with the new features and I have to admit it is a lot of fun... especially when I start playing because I can get lost in that and find myself jamming out for 20 minutes and then get back to work. But that's also when you know it's good! When you can't resist playing it.

In at 164 - referral to bronxsound for the top of page relentlessness.

How did Squids know I was eating chips?

I'm pretty much sold on this group buy its hard to resist,I've just been playing with the demo kit again , I suggest anyone interested to have a play with it , it really sounds good. http://www.esoundz.com/freesoundz.php
If I can make a request for the midi library Squids is working on, it would be very usefull to have some basic rock song structure loops included (intro, verse, chorus , bridge ,fills) , a song writing starter kit for us drum newbs
:)

Strange things happens on public forums. What a nice bunch of good loving people the online community is. And while we're at it, thank the msm for giving us the real news. And thank God for Obama. :hihi:
What ever!

Yeah, we have some of that and some crazy funky grooves with ghost notes and interesting changes to show off iMap's capabilities with snare rolls and different articulations in action. If you've ever seen me do finger drumming then you'll have an idea of what it will be like. Here's an example although it's a shame it is just the camera's audio because you can't get the real idea of how good it sounds but you can hear it perform in iMap at least:

I will do a slew of new iMap videos though with direct sound so you can hear them in all their glory and I'll capture some crazy finger drumming.

That vid was very GOOL! :P Actually, that was F#%^&ing insane! Love it!

I'm quite keen on this GB, just a few things:

Straight off the bat, I despise NI, so, what's the deal with the Infinity player? Whats it's relation to NI? What is the CP like? C/R?

Then, the more important Q. How many velocity layers per drum/cymbal? How many variations(hit variations) is there, per velocity layer level? I hope these questions make sense :)

Thanks
-GeorgeZ

PS: Squiddles! Mad skills man, great video... I just had to say it one more time!
