Squids were the Drum Masters recorded to tape or disk ?

Specifically the Ringbeat kit sounds quite tapey.

Additionally where could one find info on the gear and studios used to record the Drum Masters kits.

And one more. How are the samples processed in the infinite player. Round robin with how many layers ? etc..

and to think i was just about to cough up $150 dollars incl. shipping on ezdrummer+1 expansion pack

gonna be all over this...my new bank card will arrive this week then it's a done deal

i play drums by jand with an akai md-16...does round robin mean that i can have multiple hits, samples on each pad....

i generally map closed high hats to 2 pads so i can do nice intricate work but from the oceans way demo there seems to be tons of great hits/articulations

any thoughts on the variation from hitting one pad over and over (and over again)

Haha, almost exactly this happened to me too. I was just about to upgrade my EZdrummer lite to EZdrummer (£59) and just before entering the shop's page happened to see this forum thread. Damn lucky, too!

Finger drumming on these vids is absolutely mad. It's a skill in itself

Soon typical band lineup will be like that: vocal, guitarist, bassist and a finger drummer

I suspect finger drummers should attract girls

If I can make a request for the midi library Squids is working on, it would be very usefull to have some basic rock song structure loops included (intro,verse, chorus , bridge ,fills) , a song writing starter kit for us drum newbs

can only seem to see reason and motif stuff on that page...it must be right in front of my face

is this the full ocean way 10 kit and what are the demo limitations ?
