You missed it. But you have to admit I do make these things fun with those little surprise "name the movie/name the song" moments. Gotta be on your toes even though I tend to quote a handful of sources... therefore if you've been in past group buys or hang around the SR forum then you may know my faves and my usuals. I am a big Flight fan though so now you know. When I'm down to my socks it's business time.

I think it would be best todrop Allen a line. He'll be there in about 2 and a half hours.

We are now at 178! I wonder if we'll break 200 today?

I got something similar with IE, but no warnings and I simply closed that pop-up window.
Same here on IE - it seems to be when the page tries to load the samples into the player on the left.

With only a few hours sleep for myself and our webmaster we're talking about that right now. Apparently he may have gone overboard on security. Apparently it takes a little while for Google to do that which I think is crappy but thousands of web sites are affected by that problem and they'll have to improve their response time if they want to play internet police.

Anyway, apart from odd behavior which will get ironed out this morning everything seems to be fine and back to normal... except that if you live in Russia, China or certain other high risk countries you may no longer have access. Some places are blocked but we'll make sure you have access if you're an esoundz customer. Just precautions. If you have any problems please just email support (at) esoundz (dot) com. Thanks.

All is well, got my confirmation. :)

Being an Indian I don't like the sound of this. I think there might be more hackers in a developed country than in a country like India. Would it not be possible to protect the site from attacks all over the world rather than just making it inaccessible to honest persons who might live in those blocked countries.
Please tell me I misunderstood the post or reduce my ignorance about the security issues.

Post

Well, not all third world countries, just ones that produce a high risk according to our host server data. If you can access the site then there's no problem. If we have an honest customer that can't they can contact support and we can make sure they can have access. We'll have to deal with it on a case by case basis but I think it will be rare. It's mainly Russia and China are unfortunately too high a risk at least for a little company like us. Those countries should find a way to regulate the internet better... well it is a world-wide issue for sure. At least enough to be able to have accountability for piracy, spam and malware.

Anyway, it's not a topic for discussion here and we're going to clean up this thread so it doesn't have all the unnecessary scary stuff. The site is FINE, the Google problem solved (and they were flawed in their way of dealing with it which a friend of mine at Google admitted to me) and the authentication for mp3 demo loading (goofy overkill on security) is also solved. There may be other protected files that cause that to happen so if you run across any just PM me and I will forward it to our webmaster to unrestrict it. We had a major overhaul last night of everything. But we've scanned the entire site and looked in every folder (and there are a lot) to confirm it's clean. All good. Back to normal.

Let's keep the thread on topic. If you see anything different than normal please either PM me or contact support (at) esoundz (dot) com. Chances are it is different because of the changes but that may or may not be necessary so we'll have a look each time. Thanks for understanding.

Specifically the Ringbeat kit sounds quite tapey.

Additionally where could one find info on the gear and studios used to record the Drum Masters kits.

And one more. How are the samples processed in the infinite player. Round robin with how many layers ? etc..

Yep...
Woops missed it!

Where Ocean Way Drums were all recorded in the same room... [edited for space consideration]

...That's a lot of traveling! It's taken us YEARS just to sample let alone edit so many THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of samples of nearly every brand drum kit including custom kits from famous drummers like the ones we've mentioned. A major dedication to drum sampling that is now being released with deluxe features for both keyboard and V-Drum/E-Drum use. FINALLY!
Wow! Squids, I know you can get quite detailed and involved with some of your replies and they are very informative reading, but this one especially inspired me! I loved reading about the details for the recording spaces and artists who figure into this GB. It 'personalized' it somehow for me.

It also opens my eyes at a whole different level to how much time and effort go into the SR products, with of course the OWD piece just being on top even of all that!

Thanks!
