NI service center isn't that bad at all, have another go at it.

I still cant figure out what you've done wrong over there

SPAM is unlicensed but your comments and answers are requested from a 100 odd people over there
I think the straw that broke the camel's back was when I was updating people with info I thought they'd want to hear and pasted in a post I made here or on Gearslutz. To me I just figured "I spent a bunch of time making this post and it has to do with V-Drums so I better post it over there". I was actually trying to be helpful to those who expressed interest in the topic. I just didn't want them to miss any vital info about this bundle and the range of products forthcoming which are exciting! You'll want to know what sort of discounts you qualify for in upgrading if you've joined this group buy. But, we'll have to save that for here where there is an appropriate "marketplace" that is meant to talk about coupons, discounts, promos, group buys... in other places it can fit or not fit. I'll have to stick to just answering questions about the product there. In retrospect I should have known better. Well, at least the threads are re-opened! I'll have to discipline myself. ;)

Yes, I agree. All software auth systems have their PITA element sometimes - could even be a glitch that day. But, I've also used it without a hitch and remember with the Infinite Player you only have to authorize it once and then you can expand away without having to do it again and again. Minor pain that one time but even then... you're right that service center isn't so bad. It is definitely worth another go for the end result!

I have a good number of these kits already (most from last year's IP group buy). It would be good to see some fan loyalty here Squids :D

I just caught up on the thread. It looks like all is "right" with the world again. Good to hear that! bronxsound is at the top of the page. the vdrums thread is back open, the internet is working correctly - all is good!

But we're at 186, and we need to break this log jam. We're got to get some people to sign up!

The Drum Masters 2 features are a free upgrade (when released this month) for Drum Masters 1 users - kit for kit that you have.

New samples or bundles with new samples do have to be purchased though. We can't give those away because we have to pay royalties to studios, artists etc. that we co-partner with to create those samples. But the patches... that's just us doing our thing and while we could charge for it (certainly was a pricey and elaborate update!) we choose to reward our Drum Masters 1 customers with a painless free update so they can have the new round robin, e-Drum and V-Drum features too. We're all about customer loyalty and because of that we have a lot of repeat business at esoundz.

Hey I didn't say anything contrary to that. In fact, I've been saying all along the patches and scripts would be a free update to Drum Masters 1 users. Actually, originally it was just going to be for Silver, Gold and Platinum users but we're extending it to ALL Drum Masters 1 users including those that bought in a previous group buy or a la carte downloads... we WANT you to have the new DM2 features!

Yeah I know that. I wasn't contrary either... (don't know what you mean by that in fact... anyway) At least I, as a double (that is 2) Drum Masters 1 group buy buyer, would love some way to end up with some of these new kits... But hey, guess I'll have to pass then. This group buy seem to manage quite well without my money this time. ;) Good luck to you all. It's gonna be worth it 1000 times over. I love DM1.

Updated the threads at:

and:

Added the current total and how close we are to $99.00 and a few incentive quotes.

Trying to get the word out to as many of my internet friends as possible - the more the merrier I always say.

So close....

I've come down with funz-r-low :) but my accountant says it'll be over Thurs or Fri and then I can join the GB. I do have a question since I have no idea how to use this ( I really do, but always run into a snag :) )....I bought the last DM GB so I've been learning the NI player and Infinite as well, but I'll talk about that over on Esoundz forum not on this GB.

The 12 different Ocean Way® Drums and 15 Drum Masters 2 Signature Drum Kits are stereo mixes of kits that have mix control of the kick, snare, hats, toms and cymbals ..... That said, my question is if I use any of the kits on a song and later decide that the ride cymbals for example are not loud enough because of the keyboards, can I raise the volume of the cymbals ( not the Mic position, etc) without affecting the rest of the kit? From what I've read I believe I can but want confirmation on this.

These are kits, just sounds only.. right? There are no grooves and you need the bonus midi grooves to use? Will other Rex midi grooves work as well?

Thanks in advance Squids.

About the large download size- will the file be residing on a single server for download, or will it be a torrent? It would make sense with couple hundred downloaders to spread the bandwidth. I know it will take long time to download it regardless.
