Hey I just read a response from squids regarding the kits included on the gearslutz groupbuy thread that got me even more excited about this groupbuy, I hope he doesn't mind me quoting this but for those who aren't following the thread here is what he wrote:
"It's 22 kits with unique samples and 5 kits with some shared samples and totally different snares. BUT actually there are more kits called "hybrid kits" which are patches that mix and match between everything and the effects. So all together there are at least 40 different sounding kit patches. If the group buy goes to 300 we're going to include even more, at 400 even more and at 500 more, more and more! There are some great hybrid kits to make with these elements AND the convolution ambience. So, there very well could be about 80 different sounding kit patches to load in and play. All depends on what number is reached.
Plus if it hits 300 then you can opt to choose another kit - a multitrack kit too! " (or the choice of ezplayer pro)
this is insane and even more reason to get in on this groupbuy for any of the fence sitters!

This deal is a must-have. I'm a big Steven Slate fan, but these samples are different and a great addition to that collection. Get it while you can!

Sorry if I'm a little muddle-headed on this, but it seems that we might get our download links before December 30, or we might not and that's as close as we can get to a definite time. Is this correct, can anyone offer any more info?

Great news for sure! But Squids - don't forget those MIDI-files! Will you add some more of those, too, when we reach higher numbers?Reverend Rhythm wrote:This is awesome news!maximilians1 quoting Squids who wrote:It's 22 kits with unique samples and 5 kits with some shared samples and totally different snares. I think you've got it correct. On or before December 30. That's what I understood.Milt wrote:Sorry if I'm a little muddle-headed on this, but it seems that we might get our download links before December 30, or we might not and that's as close as we can get to a definite time. In most group buys that involve unique packages, squids is like the maitre'd getting everyone seated while the good stuff is still cooking. When it's done they give it to the server.Milt wrote:Sorry if I'm a little muddle-headed on this, but it seems that we might get our download links before December 30, or we might not and that's as close as we can get to a definite time.
