no worries at all SquidsSquids wrote: The funny thing is that I stayed up to 2:30 specifically to make sure the JB Tama Brush AND Stick and Gadd Snare made it in there. It was ready there just must be a last button to press that the web dev helping me must have conked out before pressing. We were working a late shift there. But no worries. That will be taken care of in a half hour or so when everyone is in the office.

Hello! I know everyone is "EXCITED"!
Please stop ignoring my posts!
Is there any difference between
DRY and Ambient kits/Drum Masters 2 NDV ST Premier® Kit (Ambient)and Dry/ that I just downloaded !
Here is a sample: http://nalbantov.com/masters/DM2%20NDV% ... t%20GM.mp3
AND THIS kit here http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=2404 I mean the SOUND!
The striped down kits that I just got sounds different! The snare is loose and nothing like the samples on the web site.
THANKS!

A veritable buffet of IMAP Midi files...
Last year (!) these were available from eSoundz, but I cannot find them now. Squids, perhaps you can reinstate them?

okay...it's official
i'd have happily paid twice the price for DM gretsch, OWD 10 and OWD 4....just stunning
really getting into the IMAP...might post a little vid of the ol' fingers at some point soonish......might end up ditching the MPD16 'cause it aint handling velocities subtle enough for these kits
please, when you have a moment (no rush) , squiddo could you make kit 10 conform with the same choking as the others...i'm getting a bit closer to accepting your way but still not totally convinced....anyways, with the chking as per the other kits there is at least a choice as to which to hit for the same behaviour
thanks

Man,Squids wrote: Anyway, more on what YOU can do to set it up how you like it soon. Maybe this weekend. I'd rather hang with all of you and do tips n' tricks than do this NAMM show next week. But... gotta juggle here.
I'll hope you get some extendend workshop up on this! Written or Video, don't care, though video is probably easier to do.
Would be really appreciated! There's probably a lot of tweaking and customizing possible, but it's hard to find out about all that without understanding the details.
The kits sound really good. Nice transients, very natural sounding yet still sit good in a mix. No overprocessing and dynamics preserved, Cymbals have a nice deepth to them, hard to find in other libraries. That was a really good recording job done by ocean way and drum masters engineers and i'm looking foward to other instruments sampled by you guys.
It's just, that everyone probably likes to tweak settings to the playing "feel" to his own liking.
NAMM?! Don't forget your Earplugs!
doh!!

I looked in my IP samples folder and I see a .nkx with the name "IP_Bonzo2 Castle ST Kit.nkx", some of the samples in this file have the prefix "bonzolev." So I bet this was in the bonham zip that some of us already downloaded. However, there are no nki's or nkm's to go along with them, so we are not ready to easily use them. I assume Squids will supply the nki's and and nkm's in the near future.

thought that neither of Tama kits were included in the first seven downloadable DM2 kits that were put at download area. Gadd snare and two Tama kits were the latest addition to the DL area, I believe.ebow wrote:i didn't get tama brush..i got chicago stereo instead.....
but... although I have DL'ed Bonhm Ludwig® Kit, I cannot see this kit in the DL area right now?
