How do these kits work with VDrums? Is there a tutorial or anything? My cousin plays V drums(not sure which set though) and was going to suggest this GB. Can you import the sounds into the brain? Or do you have to send MIDI from the set to a DAW or what? Thanx :)

*EDIT* Moved query to support thread............

Thanks for the tip Bassman
I just moved the folder and it worked I didn't have to reinstall anything :)

Dimi. Try tuning the kick and snare up half an octave (6). Maybe the toms too...

Please read my posts here http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 44#3930344
And Squid's too.

I think the kit we got is different from the MT version.
There is a BIG difference! And when the time come to download the MT kits I'm not sure what to do...

Thanks for your support!

p.s
in fact this is the only kit that matched my taste of drum sound...

just listen to these awesome drums http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?ProductID=2404 they sounds almost like here

and then please compare with your Premr Drum Kit kit in Infinite player...

I think it may just be tuned too low... Here's a quick drum riff using that same kit tuned up 1/2 oct. Just the drums not the cymbals. See what you think.

Yeah, but sounds fake. No match with the samples on the web site...

It's a sampler vs a real drummer in a real room with great mics. Yes it's fake but I think the samples are just mistuned.

I tried to add a touch of room to get that studio sound. It's a lot (maybe?) closer. I'm trying here man. Come on, it's a lot closer and in a mix? ...

Way too early for you to resign yourself to that conclusion. :-(

There are so many fantastic drum sounds in this collection and you really change the character of each sound by adjusting knobs right on the front of the kit piece GUIs. I think I could change every kick and every snare into one that I really like just by tweeking each one a little bit. But fortunately, I am finding lots that I like already.

In any case, with the difference between MT and STm kits, there is a lot more variations you can make to the drum sound with the MT kits. Those NDV Premier demos you were listening to came from the MT kit. So if you want to be able to get it sounding just like that, you might have to choose the MT version as your freebie. It is one of the choices, isn't it?
Somewhere in the background zedd

yeah, zedd. I will download this kit for sure!!!
And I hope to be 90% the same ...:)
