By the way, the rest of the kits from DM2 Phase 2 should be in your download area now. If you downloaded it before with the missing Multis just download it again. Sorry about that. Should be fine now.

I do have kids with my ex-wife. A boy and a girl. My son who is 5 LOVES squids. But the bizarre thing is that I've never said anything about my nick name or ever said "SQUIDS!" around him or anything. Really really strange coincidence. I took him fishing a few times and he just loves the Ocean, fish... he's an expert on it already.
Maybe he's on KVR. I think we should watch posts for him! He'll probably be easy to identify, just look for posts with 500+ words that show an insatiable lust for vintage gear!

Okay, truth be told, I also love vintage gear. I'm having a hard time NOT buying a SampleTron (the only thing holding me back is waiting for you to come out with those samples in a format that is Windows 64 bit friendly -- it's dirt cheap right now and I'm getting weak with each post you make where you mention Mellotrons, Chamberlins and the like; all I need is one person to post that they have Win7 64 bit, Sonar and SampleTron runs great on it and I'm buying).

Congratulations. Kids are the best investment. Emotionally, of course. From a financial return on investment perspective, they're usually not the most sound investment.
Yes. Btw congrats Michael. I am about to be an Uncle again any day myself.
thanks a bunch guys, my daughter has been a great emotional investment so far; although a guy I work with says "watch out: a day will come when she breaks your heart like no other ever has." awesome.

eDrummist, congrats on the new nephew/niece. my kid loves her aunts and uncles.

Squids: I'll PM you. Funny living in LA, all the names and faces are familiar. I used to be in a band called Old Hickory that was on A&M, after touring and getting burned out on the whole label thing, we broke up to get out of our deal. But apparently as the songwriter I owed some songs to the label. They wouldn't let me record with my buddies, so they made me hire a back up band. Hired Josh Freese and Tommy Stinson (and Jason was kind enough to come down and play keys).

I can only imagine the huge collection of gear you must have amassed over the years. I was watching a video today of Tom Petty at his warehouse. Have to admit, it was a little like gearhead porn. :D

oops, sorry.

Yeah Squids, start spreading the ink around.

It's only $99 right now! I picked it up a few weeks ago and it has become my favorite of the "SampleTank" series (own them all now :hihi:)

Will there be an announcement when ALL of these types of issues are resolved and EVERYTHING is ready to go (final)? It's a bit tedious to discover something is missing or not scripted right and thus, requires another download. I'd be more content to just wait it out and get this whole package when I'm certain it is complete and reliable. Even if that takes a few weeks.

It's not that I am unsympathetic to the immensitiy of this project. Jeez, I think "over the top" is an understatement! YES, it's an AMAZING deal all around 8) BUT, I don't want to waste time going back and forth, so...

Will you guys send out a final notice when this is all said and done, signed, sealed, and delivered? :?:

I'm starting to feel like we are a beta test team here.

So it is

I confirmed the file size as 372,309,070, so that's not the problem. It also looks as though the key mappings are right...

Well first of all... the Nirvana toms are working fine for me.

Second of all, are you even aware of how easy it is to update things? You just drag the zip onto the Infinite Library Installer and the rest is all automatic. They are the simplest installations and updates ever!

So what if you have to re-download a few items once they have been fixed? If you have a bad internet connection I could understand the inconvenience of it... but if your connection is at least average it is not really a big deal to update a few items.

Well that is my position, anyway. :-)

Personally I am happy to be a "beta" tester if it means getting stuff sooner than later. I love this stuff and I am eager to use it, organize it and play with it.

If you are content to wait, then you can probably just wait a couple of weeks and all the stuff in your download area will be current. But there are no promises that there won't be further updates.

The products are intended for release, not beta. But if there's something not set or working right then it gets fixed. These are the very first releases of a brand new script. Up until right now there have been no actual bugs with the script which is good. It's already been through its beta testing. But the kit making itself... well some human error involved. The Nirvana kit was one I did and I just realized what the problem was. The problem only in GM mode. (imap is fine) In GM mode one has to "set articulation" to either Center or Rim for the toms. It was a feature we added since GM is 6 tom slots and doesn't have a place for both articulations so you can choose one. To get it to work all you have to do is set the articulation you want. But, that was supposed to be done automatically by default. Easy fix.

Yes, Zedd you are right. Patch updates are easy. It is also SUPER easy to do a fix and even easier when we do a final patch update with settings like that taken care of for you. This is a custom product. It has a lot of files involved. If someone notices something not set right we can fix it and even most of the time you can if you needed to once you learn how it works and it's not that hard.

These are just PATCHES. The software itself, the samples themsleves, the script code itself - they're all fine. It's just settings in patches we're talking about. Those are even just STARTING points for you to do your own things with them. But, we DO want them to be consistent with regard to their default in how they're supposed to be. So, that's something we'll take care of. Not a big difference but we should wrap that up pretty soon. If anyone finds anything like that just let us know. Ideally it is best to bring it up in the community support thread though. OR to me via PM.

You're not receiving ANY or you didn't receive the one we were sending today. It was another long day and we wanted to send it AFTER the update... which once again went up until the late hours so we're going to send it off tomorrow.

The email goes to all people that joined the group buy so if you joined the group buy you are registered for the email.

In any case, your email is not going to give you anything you're not reading here or in the vital info thread.

Yes, I'm not receiving ANY emails.
But anyway I'm here and reading for news :)
