The problem there is we can't do one patch zip for that since each person has a different combination of MT kits. Also there's no easy way to do it on DownloadableSoundz. However I'll look into it and see if there's a better/faster way and if there is I will let you know. In the meantime the kit re-download is at least an option.Chester Desmond wrote:Is the plan still to release patches for these too so we don't need to d\l the whole kits again? The Multitrack kits have been updated so download those.
Speaking of downloads, there is now a zip to download called the USD2 Phase 1 & 2 Global Patch Update. The previous phase 1 and 2 patches are no longer there and this combines BOTH in one with all the latest updates. It should be good to go on any previous reported issues with TGAs, tom and cymbal slots etc. All you have to do is download that, keep it in zip form, drag and drop the zip onto your Infinite Library installer and it will replace your patches with the updated ones!

The GB is over, the product is actually deactivated and doesn't show up normally. However it can be gotten to with some of the lingering links... and if it is ordered we will honor it so some people got lucky. However, ironically tomorrow those links are going to go to a page with a much higher price... so that will solve that. We have to keep the product pages in the system so that people can still have it in their download areas. So they can't be removed entirely. But the lingering links... that is an odd thing about esoundz and the only solution is to just raise the price which we will do either tonight or tomorrow... so yes, technically you may have a tiny tiny bit of time to still get it if you follow old links... or you could get it at the much higher price when it is changed! If you want to buy it for a thousand dollars...P.T. wrote:Is this GB still open?
I searched back to page 77 of this thread, April 2 , and people were still joining even though the GB page says that April 1 is the end.

If you picked the Motown kit then that download is kind of a must. It had a major sample reference issue that had to be fixed. The other one that should be downloaded again is the JB Session MT Kit - at least if you are using V-Drums since there were some updates for that Multi patch.Sampleconstruct wrote:You mean download all the 5 Multikits again which we chose in the second GB? Phewwwww, this is getting a bit tedious indeed...Squids wrote:Yes.ebow wrote:all of us ?? for all of the MT kits ??Squids wrote:The Multitrack kits have been updated so download those.jarrydee wrote:Ok so I DL's the MT kits again and the "patches 2" again...is this it? So were all MT Kits modified and if so what was modified so that I can decide if minor tweaks are worth the hassle.
The rest of them... minor things like slot settings for toms and cymbals... nothing you can't do yourself actually. Sorry, I should have said. We just looked at what people reported and fixed it. But it wasn't much on the Multitrack kits... perhaps that alone will save you guys some time?
If it isn't giving you problems then you don't have to download. There were no enhancements beyond what I said. Just some good default setting things.

I don't see a way to load these. They are not regular midi files with file names like ._FastJam 2-bar 4.mid. Weird.Has anyone messed with the 250+ total SquidiMidi iMap Grooves yet? There could be some cool stuff in there... different than the usual midi grooves because of the intense use of iMap. Enjoy!
Anybody?

Thanks for the info. No rush as far as I am concerned. The problem there is we can't do one patch zip for that since each person has a different combination of MT kits. Also, is it normal behaviour that the individual instrument level meters aren't active in the MT kits?
Thanks

Hi !
I have a funny behavior on the snare in the Motown Soul MT Kit. All mapps.
In VDRM, a wrong assignment too: tom and rimshot on D#1. No sidestick.
And YES, i re-downloaded the kit. TWICE.
There will be another update ? How i could fix this ?
Thanks in advance.

I need to hit the snare very hard to obtain a good amount of volume.
At moderate velocitys, the volume is minimum.
No other kit has this behavior.
I don't know what to do to fix it.
Some help here would be great.
Thanks again.

I purchased the DVD from the first USD group buy. I don't have download links in my downloadablesoundz user area for most of the MT kits on the DVD. Can downloadable MT updates be made available for these "boxed product" kits? Is this an Allen question?
Thanks, Your Inkyness

The brunette was talking to her blond friend and said to her, "I slept with a Brazilian last night.Squids wrote:Yeah, that's not a problem.roundabout71 wrote:Hey Squids! I have a really good blond joke pertaining to Brazilian, if you are interested.Squids wrote:Bruford skin/TGA reference issue fixed if you want to redownload and install the Phase 2 Patch zip. A simple drag and drop will replace it and it will work.
Okay, the Multitrack kits have been updated. You just have to redownload the Multitrack kits you chose is the only thing... sorry about that. Harder to update those with a global patch update since each person has a different choice. But they've been updated with subtle fixes (and Motown kit references samples correctly).
I am going to get something to eat... Brazilian. I'll be back a few pounds later.
I requested a tech support from Allen, but did not hear back from him. I know he's extremely busy right now, and I've already told me to put me on the back burner until the group buy is finished up and everybody's taken care of. I just wanted to know if I can opt for the Dvd option, and have you toss it in the box with the Epik Drums Dvd?
Thanks,
Roundabout71
What's the joke?
The blond says, "Oh my God, you slut!"
"Why did you call me a slut?", the brunette asked.
"Well, how many is a Brazilian, anyway?" asked the blond.
Sorry, Squids, but I immediately thought of this when you mentioned eating Brazilian food last night. Was it a Brazilian calories?

It was the same in the original Drum Masters MT kits - I think it is something to do with the scripting. But I would prefer them to work too.Chester Desmond wrote:Also, is it normal behaviour that the individual instrument level meters aren't active in the MT kits?
Thanks
I think that they are linked to the filing system on Macs. You should find the equivalents with names without the leading "._". In the past, I've just deleted all the ones starting "._". And those files names ".DS_Store". That drops the number of files to 225.Beardedone wrote:I don't see a way to load these. They are not regular midi files with file names like ._FastJam 2-bar 4.mid. However, Windows XP is telling me that 12 of the files have a password (in the Squids Funk/Quiet folder). So they are not extracted.
