Yeah, now the outer rings are looking as shiny as the original!
Really nice, i think.

Now the tops of the knobs as shiny as the rings and i'd say they would look perfect.

And may be the lower lighter part on the rings not exactly aligned to the light-shadow angle... since this reflection is "light-independend" just try where it would look the best. May be it looks already the best, but i "do see it a bit more to the right". :D
But at least, THIS is really subjective! :hihi:

And you realigned... and made other changes... i do like. :)

Nice!

@Dave:

Hehe, you just raised a very good point! I should use textures every once in a while...

Yeah...learning, learning, learning... :D

Don't tell this to anyone, but SkinMan is my tool of the trade when it comes to album covers.

Shouldn't the face be BEHIND the bars? :D

I thought that way too, but since I'm not behind bars I prefer to be in front of the bars. :)

I must admit I've created a few graphic elements for web pages with Skinman, just quicker/easier than the graphic apps I had available for bevelled boxes and stuff.

That's it. Looks great. just on the large knobs maybe a bit more diffuse on the backend light.

Oh yes.... that do look kind of... "jaily" :D

I tried myself on a logo for my forum with skinman:

But it is damn hard to make an authentic looking plug this size and style... at least for me... :?

Wow. Very, very nice!
Is there a reason demo out, or did you just "copy" it from a pic?

Greetings

That's made by hand from pictures found on the web.

Hey, that looks promising!

The big knob's look a little funny though... Also, can you try aligning shadows to be at the bottom? So it'd maybe feel a bit more realistic with the top-down lighting
