same happened to me

i had a wusik subscription that i closed some months ago and today i got that email about that 707 thing.

just after getting the beat707 spam, I ALSO got warnings from eSet and SUPRAxxx that my browser plugin configuration had been changed, and now wanted (asked) unsolicited change of settings and internet access ...

I am surprised that there are many people left who take these fry-head idiots seriously anymore ..

what a fun coincidence - i got that spam, too, wondering what it was about and how they got my email. i didn't think that upon browsing kvr for two minutes i'd actually come across anything that had to do with it. wasn't looking for it, either.

What's Beat707?

Beat707 is an Arduino Shield that adds several neat features to your musical arsenal. You get a 32 step machine, (plus 32 double-steps for a total of 64 steps) with 16 step buttons and leds, LCD screen and navigation keys. It's like the classic Roland TR707 but with some twists, as it actually has 64 x 1/32 or 32 x 1/64 steps. Plus, the 2 note-step sequence feature allows you to do bass and/or synth grooves -- it's a MIDI groove-box all in one ! The unit doesn't produce any sound, it's all MIDI based, so you can use any MIDI compatible device.

when we did the katrina cd I won a library that required wusik, at that time I got the free version (or was it 5 bux, I think it was 5 bux). I remember being asked to opt out of emails and his newsletter was not something I was interested in so I opted out. When WR post these I look to see if I got just such an email and everytime I have.

Just noting this for the record, I clicked the unsubscibe (which has never worked with other spam) because I too would like to stop the spam from wusik.

I just delete them but still the point is now William, we do not want to do business with you and for me it's because of all your course changes in your business practices. Why do you want to use a method of advertising that clearly bothers people? Do you think that if you keep spamming us we will change our mind? Please live up to the promise you made years ago.

BTW the subject line in the email says 'Great MIDI Sequencer' for those who may overlook it

This really isn't conducive to gaining new business at all - if it was me I'd find it highly irritating.

Not sure why he hasn't got the message yet, as it's been pointed out often enough on KVR, yet he seems to ignore it each time.
