Might have been mentioned earlier, but I found out that AnarchySoundSoftware has released their plugins as freeware. Lots of quirky stuff, just going through them .. Here: http://anarchysoundsoftware.co.uk/

While looking for a link to platinumears 4x4, I came across this thread and decided to take the bull by the horns, as you will see on page three. New to me were Ians 4x4 and s8-4x4 from UnionS8. Anyone got the original whistler that was entered ?

platinumears_4x4.zip
and
s8-4x4.zip.

I don't know, if I had the other too. But I've thousands of Vsti, so I'll check my CD Collection.....

It's only the original Whistler entry that's missing. I have one but it only has three knobs and 4 sliders, I think he modified it for the contest.

Thanks eidenk, but it's the one with only 4 knobs and 4 sliders that was originally entered for the 4x4 Contest. I have one with 3 knobs and 4 sliders and I'll chuck that in, if no one finds a 4x4.
