This took 7 hours to record in March 2010, and was made by combining two tracks I was working on at the time. The February 2012 remix took 4 hours, and was mainly cosmetic, apart from the addition of the percussion.

Very pleasant chill track. Slightly confused, but enjoyable nevertheless.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

Thanks for listening and commenting, Matt. Glad you enjoyed this. This was quite a simple track to record, but, 2 years later during the remix, I kept asking myself "Does it need a lead?", or "Does it need an electric piano?". There was a great temptation to add stuff to it, which I don't really think would have been a good idea. In the end I just added the cymbals.

Thanks for downloading the EP. I hope you like it. The mastering on those tracks is different to the SoundCloud versions.

Thanks for listening and commenting folderol. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I hope this didn't have a permanent psychological effect on you.

I just uploaded a tweaked version to SoundCloud.

I think you made the right call in not adding anything but the cymbals. Everything works quite well. Probably one of my favorites of yours, too. Thanks.

I'm not fond of this genre, but I have to admit that this one is very nice : a great bass, clear cymbals, sense of breath and a very good mix. Congrats.
You can't always get what you waaaant...

Thanks very much for listening and commenting DHM. Glad you liked it. Although this is a pretty minimal, I think it has quite a "dense" feel anyway with the 3 synth instances chiming in below 1200Hz. A "lead" synth would have dramatically altered the structure of this one.

I'm not entirely sure what the genre is actually. I tend to label my stuff as ElectroProg because that's what I feel I should be doing (and I should be most comfortable doing), but I forgot to put that in the topic title

Thanks very much for listening and commenting, stanlea. I'm glad that you liked this one :)

Thanks very much for listening and commenting Neil. Glad you like it. The mix itself was relatively straightforward with only 4 instruments to worry about!

Glad you like the EP too

Very nice track. The panning (and phasing?) synth had a really nice quality to it...something about it really kept my attention on the sound and with the dark sounding bass underneath and atmospherics in the backgroud it created a very pleasing sonic space to have my head in (listened with cans).

Good work :)

Thanks for listening and commenting. Glad you liked it. I definitely had an outdoors theme in mind when I wrote this :)

Thanks very much for listening and commenting, Steven. Glad you liked it. The panning was probably the trickiest part of this remix. I knew I had to push that bass synth out to right to make room for the synth on the left.
