@snigelx
Sounds weird...I tested VST and AU in Reaper - OK, Mac versions don't have that problem.

I reported the Env1/VoiceMap selection bug a while back: here
Not a big problem. Selecting Env1 does route the modulation correctly, but the resulting label "VoiceMap" is wrong.

love the cpu improvement in 1.1, one bug to point out is with certain patches when i bring the cutoff from 30-150, an audio drop out occurs forcing me to restart ableton...this never happened in the earlier versions.
im running mac osx 10.5.8, ableton live 8.2.8

@Howard + @hakey - Yeah, weird...very weird that conditions have to be just right and that it only occurs in the modifiers section AND apparently only on Windows platform? Are you sure Howard? You checked the Modifiers section? It's not happening in any other section of Diva, exclusive to the modifier boxes. I would be very surprised if this was platform specific, but then again I'm not a code bug just an old computer guy...but many years ago ;X Maybe an Ableton thing? There again, I would be very shocked since it is not happening in every section of the synth.
Nah, it's no BIGGIE. It just makes me feel older sometimes...or like I'm drinking too much wine or something.

I just checked in Live on Mac and on the modifications page and it is fine here. Selecting Env1 says Env1snigelx wrote:@Howard + @hakey - Yeah, weird...very weird that conditions have to be just right and that it only occurs in the modifiers section AND apparently only on Windows platform? OK, well... A Windoser thing apparently. Anyone on Windows who can try this in another host? Again, odd that it's just one section of the synth. The source menus are the same in every other modulation section.
@hakey if you go back and select none, even after 2 times, you will get VoiceMap again. It seems to be an issue with setting the box to none and then the next attempt to set source as Env1 results in VoiceMap instead. Gah, brain is knotting up in dreds. Back to working on my very late DPC1 bank of patches. DOH

Just tried using Reaper on Windows 7 machine. It seems to work correctly. I went back and forth selecting 'None' & 'Env1' on all the modulation source fields in the modulation section.snigelx wrote:OK, well... A Windoser thing apparently. Anyone on Windows who can try this in another host?

I can confirm this problem. Ableton Live/Windows Vista here. You have to click a few times until you get the Env1. First you get the VoiceMap indeed, strange behavior.snigelx wrote:Thanks for your hard work guys. Appreciate the attention to development of this great synthesizer.
I'd like to report a funny little thing that is making me laugh more than cry because I keep thinking I may be going insane but now I can confirm it happening.DIVA hates Env1 as mod source ;P No, but really, when I click to choose Env1 as mod source VoiceMap shows in the box instead! It is only happening when I choose Env1. If I should click a second time and choose Env1 again THEN Env1 appears in the source box. Vwery vwery strange. Got Win7HP here. Can anyone else confirm this? I just saw the official 1.1 announce so I will install and try the lastest revision to confirm again. I was having this problem for a while but I though it was me choosing the wrong source by accident because of my dyslexia ;PPP I now know I am the (partly) sane one here. Anyone else able to duplicate that? Gonna try the new version now. That was with all revs from 657 and back.
Edit: It seems to only be happening when I click to change source to Env1 within the modifiers area. ONLY when the box reads "none" to begin with.
Edit Edit: Oops, yes, still happening in rev 674 (1.1) - only in the modifiers area and only if the box says none

So it's Ableton that needs to get the flick
It must be hell for the developers getting their stuff to run perfectly in every available OS,every available host and in every possible situation

On Logic/MacOS (latest on both) and the new Diva update did a full-scale digital POP after jumping around a couple patches and then I lost audio from it altogether. I reset the channel strip and it would play again for a few notes and then cut out again.
I haven't had time to re-test, but will do so in the AM. The full-scale digital ZAP is an extremely dangerous thing both for the monitors and the ears. Gods help you if you're in headphones at the time.

Same thing happened to me in Win x64 Reaper 4.22. It auto-mutes the channel if the sound exceeds some positive threshold so it's more of a minor annoyance than anything. Just wanted to chime in and mention it might be a cross-platform thing.Phase47 wrote:On Logic/MacOS (latest on both) and the new Diva update did a full-scale digital POP after jumping around a couple patches and then I lost audio from it altogether. No it happens with my macbook pro in Live.snigelx wrote:@ho66it thanks for testing. So it's the Ableton and Windows combo that is the culprit. Interesting
I can get to stay on the second try though. It's only mildly annoying so didn't mention it.
I'm getting occasional crashing in Live when closing a project with only an instance of Diva, with the latest update. I manually changed permissions so they have read&write on all the users, and hope that will stop the crashing though.
It's only happened twice so far though.

Oh man, I'd like to test the new version so bad (seems awesome), but I'm afraid of this bugbmrzycki wrote:Same thing happened to me in Win x64 Reaper 4.22.
