Got any ideas for plugins you think I could design? Feel free to propose them here. I cannot guaranty that I'll do the plugin though due to limited knowledge or otherwise, but I'll read it anyways. Since DC'12 starts soom I need some more input.

People seem to like randomizers inside plugins, you might want to try another one of those.

I get quite cool stringlike sounds with your JB-3004/P combined with g200kg's vocovee-vocoder, which is quite a fun vocoder. It could be interesting experiment to try to crossbreed these two somehow.

I don't know if this idea qualify as a plug-in but how about something like the SOUNDPLANT application by Marcel Blum, but instead of triggering wave files have it trigger midi files? This idea seems like just another virtual piano but the difference is that virtual pianos only trigger one note. Triggering midi files that can contain custom-made musical phrases would be an application I have never seen yet.

Also, if the trigerrable midi files can be multichannel or at least two channels then that would be great because there would be room for bass phrase and melody phrase. The midi program for the bass phrase and melody phrase should also be changeable. I mean, for example, the bass phrase could be assigned a non-bass midi sound. Such an application would be great to be running in the background while typing essays or studying scrabble words. In other words it should still be able to run even when it is minimized or sent to the tray while another application such as MS Word is in focus. I realize that the midi files need to be short enough in duration to fit the time it takes to press a key on the qwerty keyboard. So, if I type a scrabble word like ANESRTI which contains 7 letters then 7 midi files containing 7 musical phrases would be triggered in about 7 seconds or less.

Ok. Here's an idea: Sometimes, you do good mix/submix/bus and it's good, but you did it fatiqued and it's too bass heavy or too bright despite of overal balance being relatively good. You'd shelve it, but it'd bring some mids upfront. So idea: Make a little plugin with one knob, that'd atenuate frequencies on one side of spectrum and boost on other in lineral matter. Like child's swing.

Edit: may be another knob for central frequency

I'm a glitchy stuff slut.
So a secuencer with glitchy, effects, etc would be nice for this DC12.

And a preset morpher. That would be awesome.

Have a good day :)

I have an idea-
an .exe that cuts loops out of audio automatically.
So it will let you discern the bpm, set start point,
and automatically chop the track length audio into loops.
This would only be useful for material that is perfectly
quantized, ie. a Rebirth live recording.
How does that sound?

Some funky ideas in here. Unfortunately I have no knowledge how to cut out loops and other such stuff. But feel no sorrow for your ideas finding the way to my bin, most of 'em anyways :), coz I'm working on something for y'all that most will enjoy.
