Thanks spacedad, nearly missed that as you posted seconds before I did. Thanks also to ConcreteFX.

gonna see if this works/loads in Steem the atari simulator:
http://cd.textfiles.com/suzybatari2/wordwork/stspeech/

new version of Steem Engine:
http://ataristeven.host898.net/Steem.htm

and there are now:

http://hatari.tuxfamily.org/

and

http://leonard.oxg.free.fr/SainT/saint.html

great ways to slow your PC down :)
(yeah, but there are a couple of good hardware synth editors
for atari, and the stspeech is a bit of a classic)

oh look:

http://atari.music.free.fr/

there's a links page with *a lot* of oldskool resources.
sequencers for atari, stuff like that...synth editors etc.

speech.tos works a treat, lot less noisy than the output of
an atari!(although debatable...such low bit res' that it's
pretty messy). ran the new Steem and it seems to offer larger
screen size..don't really know how workable it is yet, but
could be fun for a couple of days.

hey guys, sorry for my absence but I was on the road for the last week.

I registered the domain name VSTDemon.com

What do you think?

I'd prefer a community project. Again, sort of like discogs.com for vst. I'm not particularly fond of the wiki or blog formats and was thinking maybe to build off a custom forum style format but not necessarily a forum that needs moderation.

I have all kinds of code I've written for other sites I run that handle content management, login, etc so it's not an issue to stitch it all together.

@bob bobwood - you're right on track with the database columns.

I'll whip something up over the weekend and let's see where it goes from there.

Cheers,
Dave

Hola Oktipus, no sweat. Looking forward to it. Cheers.

Anyone got any of the Norsez plug ins? Especially Onkot? It's an old VST Drum Synth I used years ago but it seems to be no longer online anywhere, I've tried all the usual places like Wayback machine but had no luck so far.

Here's the old website: http://norsez.tripod.com/_vst.html

The dll didn't work for me either, you need to download the exe file. And you only need the number, no letters and make sure there is no space at the end.

Thanks spacedad, I must have lost these in a crash before sending to back up.

Ok. Thanks Bob! :)

Although I'd really like to use the dll.... if anyone has a solution, I'd love to hear..
